Mekki Leeper is an Emmy-nominated writer, actor, comedian, and director. He wrote episode “Ineffective Assistance” for viral sensation Jury Duty, for which he received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series, and also acted as juror Noah Price throughout the season. He previously starred in Mindy Kaling's series Sex Lives of College Girls. Earlier this year, Mekki was cast as a series regular in Justin Spitzer/Eric Ledgin's NBC pilot St. Denis Medical, which was ordered to series at NBC. His standup has been featured on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Just For Laughs: New Faces, Comedy Central’s Up Next, he was named a “Comedian You Should Know” by Vulture, and he has one of the most popular Comedy Central Stand Up Featuring sets with over 7.2 million views. While still in college, Mekki wrote for the 2017 White House Correspondents Dinner.
